Apogee founder Rob Lynch has more than 33 years of experience working in development for the personal care, fragrance, cosmetics and spirits industries. After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Packaging Science, Rob became a package engineer with Unilever PLC where he developed valuable experience in package testing, engineering and development. During his time at Unilever, Rob’s responsibilities grew as he moved to Unilever owned, Elizabeth Arden in Virginia, and then to Geneva, Switzerland as Manager of Packaging for Arden in Europe. Following this assignment, Rob served as Global Group Manager of Packaging at Arden’s Stamford, Ct offices before accepting the role of Director of Packaging at Avon Products. In 2006, Rob left Avon to join Boom Creative Development, LLC. This role gave Rob the opportunity to work and grow in a smaller, more nimble and entrepreneurial environment. Having rounded out his experiences working and leading in large companies and small, Rob fulfilled his career dream of founding Apogee Development based upon the principals he has held throughout his career.
Thomas K Reilly is truly a renaissance man. Lawyer, CEO, Award winning film maker, writer, athlete and coach. After graduating from St. Lawrence University and Fordham Law School, Tom attended Pace University to gain a 2nd Law degree in Environmental Law. Tom’s exceptional leadership skills were recognized early in his career as he took on ever more responsible roles in the oil industry, eventually becoming founding CEO of startup OceanConnect, an international technology based fuel brokerage company with $1 billion in annual sales. From there, Tom was recruited to lead the turnaround as CEO of $13 billion Chemoil Energy Limited in Singapore. In 2014, Tom returned to the US to pursue broader interests. Tom has always focused on helping others and serves on the boards of several companies and philanthropic organizations. Tom and Apogee CEO Rob Lynch have been friends and collaborators in film / music and business ventures since 2007. Tom’s creativity and business knowledge have been instrumental in Apogee Development’s solid growth and success.
